'...I am not sure how to even begin to say the biggest thank you to you, Suzie, for all of the gorgeous flowers. The arrangements in the church and the tent were simply magnificent and our bouquets the perfect balance of cottage informality and wedding glamour - that pop of reddy pink in my bouquet was perfect! Really, everything was stunning and we have had so many lovely comments from people about how wonderful the flowers were...'

about suzie & florestina
Suzie is an artisan floral designer and photographer, combining her interest and background in the arts and horticulture, with a love and understanding of flowers. She works from her garden studio in a beautiful woodland garden on the Ards Peninsula in Co.Down.
Her style is garden inspired, and elegant. Flowers arranged as they grow, with lots of natural movement. She loves to work with the seasons and tries, as much as possible to use flowers from her own garden or from local growers.
local & natural
Just as we are increasingly conscious as to how and where our food is produced, so too with flowers. For an industry that revolves around plant and flower material floral design is surprisingly ungreen. Suzie tries to work in an environmentally conscious and sustainable way, her designs are oasis free and she purchases the majority of her flowers locally, using both Irish and British flower farmers, as well as growing an increasing number of flowers herself.
